Healthcare industry has witnessed a mammoth change in the past few years with the patients demanding more quality in the health care. This requires the Healthcare Providers, Payers and the Government to improve their existing business operations with an objective of eliminating medical errors, enhancing security level, connecting itself to remote locations etc., simultaneously keeping or perhaps reducing the costs to the lowest possible level. Supplementing this is the need to comply to the regulations such as HL7, HIPAA etc.

Despite having IT solutions in place, the questions which the stakeholders needs to frame for themselves are:

• Are they deriving optimum benefits with their IT solutions?
• Are they able to generate the desired returns from those solutions?
• How well are all the business processes integrated?
• Are they able to manage the cost and the time per transaction?
• How flexible their solution is to adapt to the Industry's changing needs?
• And most importantly, how consumer-centric are these solutions?
